We are a professional society for students interested in pursuing a major or career in the wildlife sciences. Our mission is to provide opportunities for improved communication among individual members locally and with other student chapters, chapters (ex: Maryland-Delaware Chapter), the Southeastern Section, and The Wildlife Society. To augment the educational opportunities for students of wildlife, biology, environmental science, and other interested students at the University of Maryland. To prepare members for careers in wildlife biology, conservation, and management. To encourage professionalism and high standards of scholarship. To foster campus and community awareness of wildlife issues.
