The Friends of Alice Birney Elemetrary (FOABE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to raise money to ensure the continuation of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) at Birney. The IB PYP is a highly sought-after framework that encourages academic and personal development for all students. “The aim of all IB programmes is to develop internationally minded people who, recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help to create a better more peaceful world.
