The University of Washington's Combined Fund Drive works to the connect employees at UW with the non-profits in the area via payroll deductions. This year we are working to fundraise for LIHI (Low Income House Institute) who just opened a new tiny house village for people experiencing homelessness in the U-District (at 45th and Roosevelt). We hope to support this new effort by encouraging employees to come get lunch or dinner at MOD, partnering with our community branch to raise money for other members of our community. We would like to work with all employees at the University of Washington to end homelessness.
