Why We're Raising

NWSCDC has been engaged in community economic development in Milwaukee’s northwest side for 35 years. Since the year 2000 we completed over $10 million in business lending to help companies grow over 1,000 new jobs in our target area. Over 85% of the new jobs created were filled by individuals who were low-income. NWSCDC also engages in Community Development activities by partnering with community residents to create safe and viable neighborhoods along Milwaukee's north side.
