Since 1935, the Marin History Museum has built and preserved a unique historical collection that documents life in Marin County from the time of the Miwok Indians to the present. The Museum strives to create exhibitions and programs that provide relevant links to contemporary issues both locally and globally. With a collection of over 200,000 photographs, the Museum provides an excellent resource for researching Marin's rich history.
