Why We're Raising

World Down Syndrome Day is March 21st, a global awareness day that has been officially observed by the United Nations since 2012. This date is significant as it represents the 3 copies of the 21st chromosome (3/21) which is unique to Trisomy 21 (more commonly known as Down syndrome). This is a day to celebrate all the ways in which people with Down syndrome contribute to our community.
