Read More GirlsBuild is a nationwide organization, whose approach is to challenge young women from public middle and high schools to impact their communities and ensure their voices are heard. This organization has improved academic achievement career access and success for Los Altos High School students. In addition, our mission has always been to empower women by taking away burdens. We are widely recognized and relied on by the student body and staff. One of our successful endeavors has been our Butterfly Carts. This idea was created to provide daily essentials that our students may need to conquer the day. Our Butterfly carts are composed of 8 drawers containing supplies like feminine products, deodorant, lotion, hair ties, wipes, first aid, chapsticks, and snacks. The Butterfly carts improve the lives of students who do not have access to quality products. Each cart is strategically placed in a location where our students can have easy access. Due to the rising costs of products our school is in desperate need of your help in keeping this vision alive.
