Read More Reborn Animal Refuge of Colorado is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal refuge in Strasburg, Colorado. Our mission is to rescue and provide life-long care for animals who have suffered from abuse, neglect, abandonment, exploitation, been kept illegally, or need a loving home. Reborn Animal Refuge started in early 2017 with a small, passionate team that came together after working and volunteering at the largest wild animal sanctuary in the country. We saw first hand how serious the wild animal trade and their exploitation is, and know there are still thousands of animals living in horrible situations across the world that still need a loving, life-long home. We saw the importance of creating another refuge to give them that. We are one of the few sanctuaries that rescues both livestock and wolf hybrids. We started building in 2018 and rescued our first animals in 2019. Reborn Animal Refuge is currently home to 26 animals: 4 steers, 3 goats, 1 sheep, 2 mini-ponies, 11 wolf hybrids and 5 barn cats. We are a small group of people with the passion, drive, experience, and education to accomplish this dream, however, we can't do it alone. Reborn Animal Refuge is raising money to help us with many current and needed projects. This will also help to secure our finances. As a fairly new and smaller refuge, we are still trying to grow our name and donation base. This money will go towards: stocking up on Hay, build a loafing shed, medical costs, vaccines, farrier, material to fix/finish structures and to build new ones. Put up new fencing, build a new habitat for our two senior hybrids, and rent equipment.
