Read More "Anyone who has ever struggled with poverty knows how extremely expensive it is to be poor." - James Baldwin Here at Light Back On, we know how it feels to choose between food and a roof over your head. Before starting our nonprofit organization, we experienced an apartment without heat and electricity for more than a year due to affordability. We used a hotplate to cook and all cuddled up in one room to stay warm. No one should have to go through that type of trauma. No one should have to be so stressed over finances that they take drastic measures just to pay the bills and keep food on the table. That is why we are fundraising because we want to help prevent people from having to experience these kinds of events. However, if you are already experiencing it, we want to help you get through it by providing resources to help fill the gaps in energy payments. You do not have to go through this alone. Lights Back On wants to help you get back to a stable life. We know God is able and that is why He put us here to help you.
