The Wayne State Compost Warriors is a pilot program in the Office of Campus Sustainability. Their goals are to redirect waste disposal away from landfills, increase student engagement on WSU's campus, and to build a workable, cost-effective, and efficient initiative on WSU's campus. Currently they are partnered with Wayne State's dining services, and grounds crew, where they collect food scraps and leaves, which they then transport to GSCC, a local community collective farmstead.
