Global Medical Training (GMT) is a nonprofit organization that provides free medical and dental services to countries in Central America. It all started in December 2013 when four University of Tennessee students took a spontaneous trip with GMT to Nicaragua. After experiencing a week of life-changing experiences, these students decided to bring a GMT chapter to UT when they returned. As a brand new student organization, we are proud to have a chapter of over 150 members already!
