Peru Health Outreach Project (PHOP) of Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. We are a student led international health outreach organization composed of physicians and health professionals, medical students, nursing students and volunteers with a passion for global health. PHOP was started nine years ago with the goal of delivering basic health care to underserved populations in the Sacred Valley of Peru. What began as a partnership with one clinic in the Sacred Valley has since expanded immensely, now encompassing several health outposts in the Sacred Valley as well as an established clinic in urban Chincha. Our mission is to provide outreach with notable and sustainable benefit to both project participants and target communities in the underserved regions of Peru through education, service, research, and sustainable partnerships.
